Business entrepreneurs face a difficulty in recruiting qualified individuals mainly in IT field for the reason that most of the vocational institutes are conducting training courses according to their own standards. Introduction of NVQ framework by TVEC has given a solution for the above problem. NVQ framework is a unified system with seven levels of qualifications. NVQ has been adopted in many countries to standardized vocational skills. GCE (0/L) and GCE (A/L) are internationally known educational qualifications. Similarly NVQ is also internationally known. Therefore, NVQ while offering standardized qualifications to the national job market and other vocational fields, open more opportunities in the international job market as well.
